The perfect antidote for this post-COVID world. Funkus Maximus is currently a studio project with lyricist Amanda West but it would kick ass live. I plan to make it happen by the end of 2025.
We’ve already released one album “Maximum Funk” which showcases the funk songs that we’ve been collaborating on mostly through the FAWM and 5090 songwriting challenges. There are more songs in the pipeline and maybe there’s another albums worth ready to go.
To have Funkus Maximus as a live band would be the ultimate challenge and buzz. I have the player at my disposal but it’s just a matter of getting the timing right. Watch this space.
